We found this really cool playground at an elementary school in Lake Oswego. James loves throwing things in water so he played in this puddle for quite some time. Of course he got all muddy and that bothered him.
Nanna reading to James
First baseball game!
Bethany, James and I met my dad downtown to watch the Portland Beavers at PGE Park. It was a good game and James was somewhat attentive the entire time. The best part was after the game when they let a bunch of kids onto the field to play catch and run the bases. He has a real knack for baseball. Of maybe he just loves using a stick to swing at things. It was really cute to watch him.
Happy Easter! This was his first chocolate bunny and he totally went to town on it. He LOVES chocolate :)
Ben occasionally does this thing where when I leave a room he'll hide and I'll have to go look for him, ( I know, he still acts like he's 5) This was by far the best hiding spot yet. As soon as I saw him I could not stop laughing. There's never a dull moment in our house!
Sometimes when Ben or I are lying down James asks to cuddle. It makes my day when he does that.
Helping me make a cake. He's at that stage where he wants to be with me every moment and do everything I'm doing, which is perfectly fine with me :)
On the train at the zoo, I have no idea why he's making that face!
I had given him an apple to eat and he immediately went to his chair and kicked back. It was the first time he had done it. He likes saying "cheese" when we take his picture now. What a life to be so darn cute and have parents that cater to your every whim (within reason of course :)
Day out with Daddy
Ben doesn't work on Fridays so it's the perfect day for me to run errands and Ben to spend some quality time with James. On this particular day they went to the library, found a super cool park complete with water feature and got to see some cement and construction trucks working.
We had painted magnetic paint on James' wall and when it was dry enough to paint over we let him help. He had a lot of fun and was pretty good at it!
We came to a rude awakening when we realized that we would have to watch what we say around him now!
