For Christmas we had James paint a picture for my dad.
Visiting Santa at the mall.
For some reason, this is one of his favorite spots - on the ledge between and window and the couch.
Sometimes we just let them run around in diapers. My goal for January is to get James potty trained, he's ready...it's me that's not :)
At our ward Christmas party.
This was a first, falling asleep while reading!
Happy 3rd Birthday James! He opened presents in the morning, spent the day doing pretty much whatever he wanted and then we went to Red Robin for dinner. He was a little taken back by the waiters singing to him.
So we're in Michaels getting some Christmas stuff and James starts riding this reindeer around. He stops by an empty shelf, sits down and tells me to sit on his lap. After doing so he asks me (in a low voice) "what do you want for Christmas?" We were all laughing pretty hard. Later that night he did it again, this time giving me a pretend candy cane afterwards.
My parents gave James a Pirates of the Caribbean ship for his birthday and Boppie gave him a Jack Sparrow dress-up set for Christmas so he was pretty stoked.
Avery and her cousin Jasper are 5 days apart. This was their first meeting ;)
Playing at the Children's Museum. James had been looking forward to seeing his cousins for weeks.
James' 3rd Brithday Party!
I decided to make things easier for myself and have the party at Safari Sams. The theme was, of course, pirates. The cake was a huge hit - I wish I could take credit for making it but it was from a store. James had 4 of his friends and his 6 cousins there so it was a blast. He had quite a fun week with his birthday and Christmas all together.
