Every Saturday morning my dad takes James to get donuts and juice. James always prefers to wait outside for him.
Rose Festival
I found out that the pirate ships were in town this weekend only so we made it a family affair. I couldn't believe how many kids came dressed up as pirates. James had some fun listening to different pirates sing and watching them dance but I think he liked the fountain the most. He loves water in any sort!
I had woken James up to get him ready for church and brought him in to wake Ben up. I left for a minute and came back to this.
They're doing construction by our house and Ben wanted James to see all the big trucks. It was hard getting him to leave :)

Bethany had a baby girl on the 12th and named her Mackayla. The girls were born in the same hospital room and are 9 days and 4 minutes apart. My parents are pretty excited to have two granddaughters so close together.
Nanna and Pappa bought James a Pirates of the Caribbean ship that he likes to watch movies from, most of the time he wants to watch "Captain Jack Sparrow."
Helping out in Nanna's garden, he figured out how to make the hose spray and we could not get it away from him.

He loves giving kisses.
Since it's been so hot this summer we put an air condition unit in a window downstairs, but the upstairs is still an oven. I had James take his nap on the couch with Avery. It was surreal, looking at my TWO kids :)

We tried water wings for the first time and he seemed to really like them.
