David came to town for an extended weekend and we had a blast as always. While James was in school one day we took the girls to Old Navy. Avery was being super cute so David started taking pictures. No joke - she would pose, let David take a picture, walk over to see it, turn around and pose again. And once we had to two girls together - oh my goodness, they were hilarious. We didn't get a picture of it but there were these mannequins that they were fascinated with. Avery kept grabbing on to the hands and pulling like she wanted to be picked up. At one point she totally the pulled the arm off!
We spent David's last day at Canon Beach. It was the seriously one of THE best weather days I have ever seen at the beach, especially for November! I had prepared for the worst weather and we were all roasting within minutes. The kids loved it, as always. We had a nice picnic, the boys played football, James chased the seagulls and Avery did everything in her power to run into the water. Every time I put her down she would run straight for the water, laughing the whole time. James wasn't feeling too great to start out, but that soon wore off. I think the kid's most favorite part was actually just playing in the sand with a bunch of cups. After a couple of hours on the beach we headed into "town", walked around some stores and then had dinner at the best pizza place. It's always sad when David leaves, but luckily he gets to come home for Christmas!
James found these red, fake guns and HAD to be a mean cowboy.
My mom bought the girls matching dresses and this was the only picture I could get before they ran off :)
That girl loves her macaroni and cheese!
Happy Thanksgiving! Five of my mom's eight siblings spent the holiday with us and it was a ton of fun. I didn't know that we could fit that many people in my mom's house! The food was great, the company was great, it was a great day :)
