Happy St. Patrick's Day!
The lepruchan brought the kids lots of fun green treats and chocolate.
A few things about our darling Avery - she has more personality than I can almost handle some days. I don't want to cut her hair yet, and she hates it in her eyes, so either we put a barrette in or just throw it up in a ponytail like this. She has been obsessed with this vest lately and even more so with shoes - especially James'. So these pictures pretty much sum up our daughter. She's a riot.
Dyeing Easter Eggs
Avery was more interested in drawing on the eggs - and herself - than anything else. She only got one egg and I wish we had a picture of that because she demolished it. That egg was so cracked there was no saving it. She certainly had fun though. James was a pro at the few he did, the rest he wanted Ben to decorate.
That evening we had an egg hunt at my parent's house. They had bought all the kids these baskets from Sees that were so cute. Good thing we had two of them since I ate quite a lot!
Happy Easter!
We had a crazy, busy, fun day. We had to get the kids up early because we needed to get to Hunter's baby blessing by 9. We let them have their baskets, loaded them in the car and drove half an hour to Hillsboro. After church we went to Bethany and Ben's for brunch and another egg hunt. Bethany and Ben had gone crazy on filling plastic eggs for all the kids and hiding them at a park nearby. It was raining and cold, in other words a typical oregon spring day, but that didn't stop the kids from having a blast. After spending a couple hours out there we loaded the kids once again and headed back to our ward since Ben and I both had to teach. Then we had a nice Easter dinner at my parent's. It was a very nice, family-filled day.
The many faces of Avery. At times she is an absolute doll, extremely cuddly, loving and sweet, then, at other times, she is a little terror, making messes wherever she can, running away from us in public whenever she can and just generally acting like a you know what. She's so darn cute though, we're going to have to keep her.
Bethany found this super fun pizza place by her house. What I don't have pictures of are the huge tube slides that look like rockets. The kids love it and the pizza is really good too.
One of the kid's favorite activites - they absolutely love it when Ben is home from work.
