The many, darling faces of Briella! She's already two months!
The big news of the month happened when we got a new car! I have been wanting a van for awhile now and am not ashamed to admit it :) This van is awesome - it has so many cool features I cannot even list them all. The kids love the space and I love that they are no longer in arm's reach of each other!
This girl LOVES green beans. She ate half a bag without blinking an eye. Do you see the unabashed adoration in her eyes? It could be worse!
Her first major owie. She ran into the corner of a door and it immediately swelled. It was so sad. She had a nasty bruise for a few weeks too.
Mackayla spent the day at our house and she had these cute little braids in her hair when she arrived. I had never tried braiding Avery's so I thought I would give it a go. She sat pretty well but the braids didn't stay in very long. Her hair is thin and super silky but I did get a few pictures before they fell apart. I love how much my kids love their cousins!
Poor Briella is constantly man-handled. The kids fight over who gets to kiss her and hug her and just generally love her. I just have to keep an eye on them, sometimes they get a little over-zealous in their attention to her :)
First off, I have to explain Avery's dress. When Ben's mom was in town last month she made a princess dress for Avery that was supposed to be for dress-up. She is so in love with it that she wears it almost every day. We were meeting Bethany and Ben at a tree farm for some Christmas fun and Avery threw a fit when we tried to get a change of clothes on her. I have to pick my battles with her and she definitely won this round. She was running in the parking lot with Mackayla and almost fell in the mud, which, in her eyes, would have been the worst thing ever! Seriously, I wanted a girly-girl and I most definately got one! I can't forget to address the pictures of Ben. He wanted a picture with Brie and I mentioned that he looked so somber, that led to the following pictures. There is never a dull moment with him.
The mother-of-all forts! This was the biggest one Ben has ever done! He's amazing, he even mopped the floors and cleaned it all up later in the day!
