Briella Lorainne!
Our little girl joined the family on September 5th at 1:15 pm. She weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 20 1/2 in. long.
The kids cannot get enough of her - they love to hold and kiss her. They are both so loving and sweet, I could not have asked for a smoother transition from two kids to three!
One of their new favorite games is wrestling - I love how they make each other laugh :)
Sean loves Briella, so much so that he threw a fit when Betsy tried to take her away. Betsy called me when they got home later and told me how he was asking for "lella"
Ben took a week off of work after I had Brie, so while I sat around holding my darling baby Ben took the kids to a different park every day. They had been seriously park deprived since I had no interest in running after them being nine months pregnant in 90 degree weather. Ben has asked me numerous times if I would let him be a stay-at-home dad while I worked and this week cemented that want even more. The kids loved having their dad for so many uniterrupted hours, I recuperated super fast, it was a great week all-around. I was sad when he had to go back to the "real world."
My silly girl :) She came home from church one day and immediately put together this outfit. It consists of my boots, James' belt and necklace and her sunglasses. James added the hat for her. She loves my boots, I'm surprised at how well she can walk in them. She is huge into coloring right now. She did this masterpiece at my parent's house while I was downstairs. I could not stop laughing, good thing it was washable. She is such a cheerful, fun girl. Every day is a new adventure when it comes to her.
The kids were watching a movie on Nanna and Pappa's bed - I love how Sean is in the same position amist the chaos!
David's home! He took a job with Nike so he got one last shopping trip in for the kids before he left New York. They got a ton of super cute stuff and the kids were so excited to see David again. We tried to get a picture of all the grandkids together, but of course, it did not go smoothly. Ben will have to do some major photoshopping to get a decent picture!
Check out the multi-tasking. He can placate the baby and talk on the phone at the same time.
Avery loves wearing shoes and she is usually wearing mine but today she wanted Ben's socks and shoes.
