Trip to Utah
Ben's whole family was going to be in Utah at the same time so we had to make the drive :) These three darling kids all have birthdays around each other so we had a joint party one night. We had a blast being with family and friends - I wish we could have stayed another two weeks - we didn't even get close to doing all the things we wanted to. We'll just have to visit more often!

A few days after we got back from Utah, I left Ben and the kids behind for an awesome girls-only trip. My Mom had turned 50 on the 13th and wanted to celebrate in Victoria, BC. We drove up to Port Angeles (my mom, myself, Bethany and Betsy) super early in the morning and caught the ferry over. We had so much fun, I don't even think I can write it justice. Ben commented that every time he called I was laughing so hard that he could hardly understand me. We barely acted our age - and that's saying a lot. It was a ridiculously good time and we are going to make a tradition out of it. We even drove two hours out of our way to see the little city of Forks!

I take my herbal tea with a little cream and LOTS of sugar :)

I'm not even going to say how long we spent here :) We did get some cute shirts and sweatshirts though!

It was hot, but the kids had fun. They had this Metallica cover band playing that we got a complete kick out of. The kids enjoyed it for a little bit, then it got too loud :)

Ben and James went blackberry picking one saturday. After Ben took some pictures he handed the camera off to James.
